Camps coming up!

Really excited to teach at a few camps in a variety of beautiful places in the coming months.

First: the Edinburgh International Harp Festival on April 1st-5th. I'll be teaching a five-day Elementary/Intermediate course on traditional Scottish tunes, and digging into making them our own. Still time to sign up if you'll be at the festival. Bright and early at 9am each day! You can also sign up for private lessons with me, and I'm excited to play a concert with my best pal Jenna Moynihan in a co-bill with the amazing Corrina Hewat on April 2nd. Tickets are here.

From June 25-30th I'll be teaching the harp course at the Acadia Trad School in Bar Harbor Maine. It's a pretty amazing all-star lineup of tutors of many different instruments, and there are fantastic workshops and concerts every night. I'll be performing at the festival in duo with Jenna Moynihan on June 27th: tickets here.

August 14th-18th I'll be in Wells, BC for the Island Mountain Arts 31st Annual Harp School. I'll be teaching an Advanced class in the mornings and a Gaelic ensemble workshop in the afternoons. The other amazing tutors are Sunita Staneslow, Tristan Le Govic and Caroline MacKay.

Hope to see you at one or more of these! All pretty amazing spots to spend 5 days learning some harp.

Performing in Bogota, Colombia

So excited to head to South America for the first time - to Bogota, Colombia - to perform and teach at III Encuentro Maestros Del Arpa.

I'll be performing in two concerts - on Saturday Sept 10th and Sunday 11th, and teaching before that.

I've had a wonderful time in the UK this summer, and after Colombia, I'm looking forward to dates in North America with Darol Anger & The Furies in September, and with Aerialists & Emily Millard in October and November. More on that soon!

Summer dates with Brìghde Chaimbeul Trio

Delighted to be playing a few UK summer festival dates with my sister Brìghde Chaimbeul. Really happy to be playing music with a wonderful player of Scottish smallpipes, the big big Highland bagpipes, whistles, and other things. She was the well-deserved winner of this year's BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award at the Royal Albert Hall. We'll be joined by the fantastic Innes White on guitar, whom you may have seen recently with the John McCusker Band, Karen Matheson, Mischa McPherson and many more. It's gonna be such fun, hope to see old pals and make some new ones!
